Among the main objectives of the 14th edition of the annual event organized by the Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism (Lecce, Italy, October 16-18, 2025), “is the desire to highlighth the quality of an often marginal and under-reported architecture, composed of a constellation of highly capable, poetic, and sometimes courageous designers. For this reason, Architects Meet annualy awards national prizes – four this time – that formally recognize the commitment, sensitivity, and particular adherence to the theme of certain designers”.
The winner, with a special mention also for the particularly well-finished set-up presented in the exhibition, was MPA Moreno Pivetti Architecture, with the project “Là dov’erano i Canapai”, a refined restoration (including seismic adaption) of the ‘Il Castello’ Court, now the New Knowledge Factory, a long, block-shaped building in Bondeno (Ferrara) converted for civic use with critical and creative capacity, technological but respectful solutions” (Giulia Mura).
